Our client in the bank sector, who wishes to remain anonymous, has re-aligned their Visions and Strategy Pillar to becoming a more agile organisation with entrepreneurial mindset.

With 350 employees to bring along in this collective intelligent transformation, the Client needed a catalyst to rapidly translate the strategy into everyday leadership behaviors – “hardwiring Strategy People Culture”.

Beside enhancing managerial and leadership competencies, the Client wanted to boost the synergies and break down silos to create an empowered and agile organization.

A core group of 15 leaders were identified as key talents and ambassadors of the company’s strategy.

Solution

A Leadership Program consisting of 10 months Journey was designed focusing on: the role and traits of Effective Leaders, Emotional Intelligence and Decode the Human, Communication and the Manager-Coach, Team Dynamics and Performance and lastly Influence and Negotiation. A team of facilitators, guest speakers and coaches supported the group and individuals. Executive coaching programs and various self-assessments (CATIL 360Feedback, Predictive Index, Values Questionnaire) were used to give insights to the participants leadership traits and strengths as well as overshadowing development areas. Professional Development plans were built. They were trained on facilitating Skills. Coached on new mindset and Posture. Peer mentoring among the 15 participants was introduced. Executive debriefings to the Executive team and board members added to the available resources given to the 15 ambassadors.

Results

The Program intended to link People – Culture – Strategy and had the following deliverables:

  • generated engagement and synergy within the trained community;
  • developed a sense of accountability as a manager-entrepreneur, and;
  • acted as catalyst of role model and ambassador for the new values and strategy.

On a personal level, the coaching and training objectives and deliverables were:

  • increased self-awareness and responsibility for own leadership development;
  • overall step-change in management skills, and;
  • application of learnings at work and their transfer to peers and subordinates.

Our leadership program has delivered outstanding results. In just 10 months, 15 leaders underwent transformative training, coaching, and self-assessment, enhancing their managerial and leadership competencies. They became effective role models, fostering engagement and synergy within the organization.
