Event Registrations Terms

1. Definitions

1.1. “AK+Partners” designates Affentranger Kveton + Partners Sàrl, a company duly registered and validly existing under the laws of Switzerland with registered seat at Place de Savoie 2, CH-1260 Nyon, Switzerland.

1.2. “Training” refers to the cross-company open session delivery of the Predictive Index® Certification (“PI Certification”) by AK+Partners or one of its Business Partners.

1.3. “Client” refers to the legal entity registering one or more participants for the training.

1.4. “Participant” refers to the individual attending the training on behalf of the Client.

 

2. Acceptance of Terms & Scope of Application

2.1. Registration of participants for the Training by the Client constitutes acceptance of the present Terms and Conditions.

2.2. In the case of inconsistencies between these Terms of Use and a specific Agreement between AK+Partners and the Client, the provisions of the Agreement shall prevail.

2.3. The Training consists of two (2) full days, typically delivered online as four (4) modules of three (3) hours each.

2.4. Attendance at all four (4) modules by a Participant is mandatory to receive the certification.

 

3. Payment Terms

3.1. Invoices shall be paid the latest on the start date of the Training.

3.2. From the second reminder onward, a flat administrative fee of CHF 125.– per reminder and a 2% annual interest rate shall apply.

3.3. All fees are exclusive of VAT. The Client is responsible for any applicable local taxes or bank charges related to payment.

 

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

4.1. Cancellations received in writing at info@akpartners.net no later than three (3) weeks before the start of the Training shall not incur any charges.

4.2. Cancellations received less than three (3) weeks before the Training start date shall be considered late cancellations and be charged in full.

4.3. No-shows on the days of the Training delivery dates shall be treated as late cancellations and be charged in full.

4.4. In the event of a late cancellation or a no-show, the Client may request to reassign the same participant to a future Training, subject to availability, for an additional fee of CHF 800.-. This option must be exercised within six (6) months of the original session date.

4.5. A minimum of six (6) confirmed participants is required for the training to take place. If this threshold is not met, AK+Partners reserves the right to reschedule the training at no additional cost.

4.6. The Client will be informed no later than two (2) business days prior to the scheduled training date if a rescheduling is necessary. Such rescheduling does not constitute a contractual breach.

4.7. AK+Partners may replace the assigned trainer or adjust the delivery format in case of unforeseen circumstances, without affecting the validity of the training or these Terms.

 

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. All training content, documents, methods, and materials provided remain the exclusive intellectual property of Predictive Index®,

5.2. Reproduction, public distribution, commercial reuse, or adaptation of any training material without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

 

6. Liability

6.1. The Training is delivered on a best-effort basis. AK+Partners does not guarantee specific outcomes or performance results.

6.2. In no event shall AK+Partners be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, incidental, exemplary, or consequential damages, or any damages beyond the amount paid by the Client to AK+Partners.

 

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

7.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed exclusively by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.

7.2. The courts of the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions.

 

8. Modifications and Validity

8.1. AK+Partners reserves the unconditional right to amend or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time and at its sole discretion.

8.2. The Client will be informed by AK+Partners that new Terms and Conditions are in effect. These new Terms and Conditions will be published on this webpage and apply only to Training sessions booked after the date of publication.

8.3. In any cases, it is the Client’s responsibility to review the current Terms and Conditions before each registration and to remain informed of any amendments or modifications.

8.4. Registration of participants for the Training by the Client after amendment or modification of these Terms and Conditions modification constitutes an explicit acceptance of said amendments or modifications.

8.5. Should any clause in these Terms and Conditions be deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
